Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind – your feelings, patterns, behaviours, and unconscious motivations. It works on a deeper level for you wanting to feel healthier rather than just thinking you should be healthier. It makes it possible for you to change your thinking patterns and gain control over cravings.

 

While diets and nutrition place the focus on what you eat and how often, hypnotherapy for weight loss changes how you feel about what you eat. For example – on a diet, you might drink a healthy smoothie and wish you were eating a cake, but with hypnotherapy, you can learn to enjoy the smoothie and not give the cake a second thought!

ALLERGIES & AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE

An allergy is an adverse reaction that the body has to a particular food or substance in the environment. Most substances that cause allergies are not harmful and have no effect on people who are not allergic.

Addictions are a strong, uncontrollable need to take drugs, drink alcohol or carry out a particular activity such as gambling. It becomes the most important thing in your life. In particular, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Hypnotherapy have been shown to be very effective in treating addiction problems.

HABITS & DISORDERS

A habit is a routine of behaviour that is repeated regularly and tends to occur unconsciously.
Common Bad habits include:
Nail biting, Trichotillomania, Knuckle cracking, Burping, Thumbsucking etc.

 

Disorders include problems like OCD, Anorexia, Bulemia, Personality Disorder or anxiety disorder.

FEARS & PHOBIAS

A fear becomes a phobia when you have to change your lifestyle to manage it.

 

However, you don’t need to live with a phobia. All phobias are treatable with usually just one or 2 sessions. It can be reduced or completely eliminated.

PANIC ATTACKS

Panic disorder is where you have recurring and regular panic attacks, often for no obvious reason. Everyone experiences feelings of anxiety and panic at certain times during their lifetime. It is a perfectly natural response, particularly when you are in a dangerous or stressful situation. However, for people with panic disorder, feelings of anxiety, stress, and panic occur regularly and at any time.

TEETH GRINDING

Bruxism is a medical term that describes the act of grinding the teeth and clenching the jaw.

Most cases of teeth grinding (nearly 80%) occur subconsciously during sleep. It is usually associated with contributing factors, such as stress and anxiety. With just a few sessions this can be improved or removed.

PMS was the name given to the physical, psychological and behavioural symptoms that can occur in the two weeks before a woman’s monthly period. 
Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a health problem that is similar to premenstrual syndrome (PMS) but is more serious.

It can cause severe anxiety, depression,  irritability and anger the week or two before your period starts. It can be extremely debilitating for women affecting their relationships, work and all areas of their lives. Luckily, I have helped lots of women overcome this and I can help you too.

CHILDREN'S ISSUES 

There are hundreds of influences that kids will encounter throughout their early lives that will have an impact on their development – both in negative and positive ways.

Kids can suffer from ADHD, Bedwetting, Bullying, Panic, Anxiety, Twitches and so much more!
I have worked with a lot of kids and teens ranging between the ages of 6 to 17 with some excellent results!

INSOMNIA

Insomnia is difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep for long enough to feel refreshed the next morning, even though you’ve had enough opportunity to sleep. Hypnotherapy in itself will make you deeply relaxed and ready for deep sleep.

I also do corporate workshops in companies teaching their employees the importance of sleep and helping them with a Sleep Improvement Programme. 

SEXUAL & RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS 

It’s estimated that one man in 10 has a problem related to having sex, such as premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, but many women have problems with sex at some stage in their life too, such as Vaginismus, loss of libido, painful sex etc.. There is help and I've had outstanding results in helping men and women with this.

Besides the sexual problems, this, as well as other things in life can put a strain on a relationship causing a lot of relationship problems. I teach you to improve the way you relate to the people around you and break free of old patterns to realise your potential.

There are numerous skin problems people of different ages can experience but most of these conditions can be controlled or completely eliminated with the help of both hypnosis and Mind MeDiation.

Psoriasis, Acne, Eczema, Sweating, Warts, Cold sores and common rashes.

 

MEMORY LOSS

It’s normal to become a bit forgetful as you get older. However, memory loss could be a symptom of something more serious and should be checked by a GP.

Memory loss can be distressing, for the person affected as well as for their family.
Common causes are anxiety, stress, and depression or even a hormonal imbalance.

MENOPAUSE

It is sometimes referred to as the “change of life” when a woman’s ovaries stop producing an egg every four weeks. The menopause is caused by a change in the balance of the body’s sex hormones. The reduction in oestrogen causes physical and emotional symptoms, such as hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, etc. and these are all controlled by your brain. 

The good news is, as the symptoms are created and controlled by your brain, I can help you make the change through Mind MeDiation and Hypnotherapy and you can get control back of your life again.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE 

To be a successful athlete involves high levels of physical fitness, however, that is only half the battle. Sports performance is having as much Mental ability as it does physical ability. 

Through Mind Therapy ad Hypnotherapy I work with the unconscious mind to make long term changes over a short period of time. By doing so, it can give you that mental edge to win as we will be getting your mind focused on your end goal, getting you 'in the zone', not getting distracted, but also getting your mind to absolutely know that you are a winner!

There are ways to ease the stress. Look out for signs like irritability, not sleeping well, losing interest in food, increased anxiety and depression. Headaches and stomach pains can also be stress-related.

Grief is a natural response to loss. It is the emotional suffering one feels when something or someone the individual loves is taken away.

Although conventionally focused on the emotional response to loss, it also has physical, cognitive, behavioral, social, spiritual, and philosophical dimensions. And since we deal with matters of the mind, we would like to help you deal with your grief easier.

TINNITUS

Tinnitus is a term that describes any sound a person can hear from inside their body rather than from an outside source.

Although tinnitus is often described as ‘ringing in the ears’, several sounds can be heard including:

buzzing, humming, grinding, hissing, whistling, sizzling

At the moment there’s no single treatment for tinnitus that works in the same way for everyone. However, hypnotherapy has been proven to be an excellent treatment for many people.
