introduction to sleep improvement

A presentation on why good quality sleep is so important to our physical and mental health and cognitive functions.  Education on sleep hygiene, nutrition and relaxation before bedtime to improve sleep.

This programme is held over 4 weeks and is an hour long so that it can be fitted into a break or at the end of the day.

Over the course of this programme, we look at things like:

  • What is sleep

  • Why is sleep important

  • Your sleeping style

  • Switching off for sleep

  • Sleep disturbances


and more.

You will also be asked to complete some assignments related to your sleep and compare notes with your waking state at work.
